FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q - Do I have to be in good shape to start?
A - No, most of our clients are struggling with their fitness and that is what led them to us. We have a unique program that will challenge but not overwhelm a new student.
Q - I am not very athletic. Will I be able to learn?
A - Having no previous experience can be a positive. You'll have no bad habits to fix! We've taught countless students from all walks of life and because of our simplified, systematic approach, we can help demystify the experience, making it fun and accessible for all skill levels.
Q - Is this training for women too?
A - Absolutely. Women need self-defense skills now more than ever before. It is imperative that they be trained correctly. We have many successful female members ranging from high school students all the way to grandmothers. We are very proud of our female members who are learning true Martial Arts and not simply engaging in aerobics!
Q - Is the training safe?
A - We require the use of proper safety equipment in all programs. We constantly stress safety and our safety record is phenomenal, unlike other martial arts training centers. Heavy-contact sparring is available, only to those wishing to include more intense fight training, done under close supervision.
Q - What types of participants are there?
A - Amateur, professional, and recreational. The amateur competes for awards, the professional competes for money, and the recreational student doesn't compete at all. Instead, he or she participates for the enjoyment and mental/physical benefits. With our program you will develop strength, stamina, agility, and confidence. Approximately 80% of our school is recreational.
Q - How will I know if it will work for me?
A - Are you committed to getting results? If your answer is yes then you are ready to become part of our winning team. We have helped many achieve their goals, and as long as you are ready to commit, work hard, and have a lot of fun, we can help you too.
